Heart Strings
Made by Cindy Cooksey
About four years ago, Cindy Cooksey of Irvine, California, started this quilt as a "back-burner" project, making blocks when she had time. After finishing several blocks, Cindy explains, "I got the idea of adding 'heart strings.' " This quilt was a finalist in QNM's 35th anniversary quilt contest and also won best of show at Cindy's guild competition.
This pattern appears in the January/February 2005 (#369) issue of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine.
